Chico’s Tacos is El Paso; a road trip tradition.

Last Christmas . . .

…We were in a rental. Now, we are in our new house. This has been an amazing year. I am in my 5th year of teaching and we bought a house. After 13 years of marriage and being a dad for 11, I am finally starting to feel like an adult.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and great new year!

From the mouths of babes.

So, my 8-year-old daughter and I are walking through a Hallmark store this week when we notice that they have the Christmas ornaments out. (I know, that is another topic) Anyway, she saw this…

…and she says, “Look Papa, The Wiggles!” I had never noticed it, but now that she mentioned it…

Aren’t kids great!

p.s. If you don’t have kids, this post probably won’t make any sense to you.

We’re Back!

Well, we are back from Wisconsin. It was a great trip, once we got
there. There were tornadoes and thunderstorms on the day we were
supposed to arrive so we had to spend the night in Phoenix. Yippee! We
found out the next day that America West was the only airline to cancel
flights, something that they do all the time.

The tornadoes touched down about 15 miles from my grandparent’s town of
Janesville. We went and looked at the damage.
